What we measure
- AI mention frequency — how many sampled answers name your company;
- First-pick rate — how often you're the first recommendation;
- Engine coverage — visible on ChatGPT vs Perplexity vs Google AI (they rarely agree: in our July 2026 sample, ~87% of cited domains appeared on only one platform — methodology);
- Query coverage — which question types (emergency, cost, best-of) you appear in, and which you're absent from;
- Competitor visibility — who's winning your queries, and month-over-month movement;
- Citation gaps — which sources the engines read for your category that don't (yet) mention you.
