West Coast Home Pros is an independent guide to home service providers in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia. We exist because choosing a contractor is a high-stakes, low-information decision — so we replace opinions with measurements.

What we actually do

• We measure recommendations. Every month we sample thousands of AI-assistant responses to the questions real homeowners ask, and record every provider named. Our lists are ordered by that measured frequency — currently 39 guides across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing.
• We compile real prices. Our cost guides price fixed, comparable scenarios using only public sources — pricing companies post themselves and figures homeowners report in public forums — every number source-linked.
• We keep commerce away from rankings. Inclusion is free. Businesses can pay for enhanced display, always labelled, never affecting order. Details in our methodology & disclosure policy.
